Description
Printed watercolor graphic by Alexa Vitug of an EKG line running through the Orlando skyline, such as the Cinderella Castle, the Orlando Eye and the Suntrust building in downtown Orlando. “ONE HEART. ONE PULSE.” is printed in black ink. There are two handwritten messages in pen. One message above the graphic says, “Brothers & Sisters, I am so sorry this happened. My heart hurts for you and your loved ones. My heart hurts that your lives were cut so short. Your legacy will live on through the people of this city. You will not be forgotten. With all my love, Charlon Thompsen.” The second message says, “WE NEVER MET BUT THE STRUGGLES WE FACED ARE THE SAME. YOU PAID THE ULTIMATE PRICE WHILE BEING TRUE TO YOURSELVES WITHOUT SPREADING HATE OR JUDGEMENT – RATHER LOVE IN THEIR PLACE.
