Description
Sign with, “NYS (heart) ORLANDO” printed on a blue background with a rainbow heart on one side. The reverse side says, “CUOMO Stands with LGBT” with the state of New York printed in rainbow.
Historical Notes: On June 26, 2016, New York’s governor, Andrew Cuomo, issued Executive Order No. 158 to commission a memorial in New York that honors the LGBT community and victims of the Pulse Nightclub shooting. Afterwards, he marched in the 46th annual NYC Pride Parade where some individuals held up signs like this one.
