White t-shirt covered in written messages, found with Kimberly Jean Morris’ memorial cross (2016.036.1111). “KJ MORRIS,” is printed across the center and colored in different colors. “We will never allow your memories to be forgotten. You will live on in the stories we share. TO KJ and all the lives lost, the Waltham House stands with you. / The Waltham House sends all of its love. We will ? and continue to fight in your name,” are handwritten in marker.
Historical Notes: The Waltham House is a group home program dedicated to providing a safe and supportive living environment for GLBT members between the ages of 14 and 18. When The Waltham House opened in Massachusetts in October of 2002, it was the first residential group home that opened in New England and only the third program of its kind in the nation.
