Printed Poem and Letter (2016.034.1459)
Description
Laminated poem printed on green paper with personal printed message. The poem says, “The tide recedes but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand, The sun goes down but gentle warmth still lingers on the land, The music stops and yet it echoes on in sweet refrains… For every joy that passes something beautiful remains.” The message in the bottom right corner says, “Peace, may you find it in the days to come, and in the loving thoughts that are with you now. Sorrow is not forever, love is. Rene’ and Billy Graney.”
