Jewelry Box (2016.034.1701)
Description
Metal jewelry box with a sticker of Pope John Paul II on top. Found with metal rosary beads inside and a note that says, “These Rosary Beads are from the Vatican in Rome.”
Historical Notes: Patty Lockwood of Orlando was short on her paycheck, so she couldn’t afford flowers. Instead, she found her most meaningful item to bring to the memorial, figuring she had photos from her trip, and that was enough.
