Children’s plastic toy fireman’s hat, found with Cory James Connell’s memorial cross (2016.036.0939). The hat is covered in messages from his family signed in marker that say, “I MISS YOUR SMILE! I LOVE YOU! -MOM / LOVE YOU SON / FLY FREE.”
