Card with a handwritten message on the inside that says, “Dear Orlando 49, / May you all rest in peace. It’s unfathomable that there is such hatred and violence in our world, and it’s so horrible that there is little we can do, as a society, to get a handle on the gun laws in the US. As part of the LGBTQ, this could have easily happened to people I know & love, or to me. I feel like it did happen to people I know- as we band together as a community. I pray for a more peaceful world and a union with all people, race, religion and gay or straight, May your families, friends, and all those affected be strong, for each other, and for the good of the world. / Love, Miranda.” Handwritten on the envelope, “TO THE ORLANDO 49 / (heart) Miranda / Vancouver, Canada.”
