Historical Notes: The Come Out With Pride event in 2016, presented by Orlando City Soccer Club, was the 12th annual festival of pride in Orlando. The festival attracted over 150,000 visitors. Once the parade was over, 49 paper lanterns were lit and set afloat over Lake Eola in remembrance of the 49 victims of the Pulse Nightclub shooting.
