Description
Card with, “just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly… -proverb” printed on the front. The inside has a message separated by rainbow colored lines drawn in marker. The message handwritten in blue pen says, “49 Lives Taken, 53 Injured, / Another tragedy to awaken those that are numb & shaken / LGBT Ally for Life, Before, During & After Any Plight / Media and politicians got their pictures, religious extremists abuse scripture. / We all feel better, mourning together under thunderstorms & turbulent weather. / While we wear our new rainbow shirts, in an effort [sic] to avoid all that hurts / I will never stop feeling the Pulse, until we see real results. / Gun violence out of control, Republicans paying NRA their toll / We must Act Now, Before I Lose another friend, and have another funeral to attend.”
