Handwritten message on a blue index card, found with Jean Carlo Mendez Perez’s memorial cross (2016.036.1517), with stickers and “We will never forget you,” on one side. “Jean Carlos Mendez / a beautiful smile & eyes that hold the world in your hand / peace (heart),” is handwritten on the reverse side.
