Angel Kite (2017.022.0001)
Angel kite made out of white fabric with a yellow heart attached to the center. “Christopher Scott Brodman I (heart) U My Angel / NEVER forgotten / Chris BrodMAN RIP,” is handwritten in purple marker.
Historical Notes: Chris Brodman was a survivor of the Pulse nightclub attack. Exactly three months after the shooting, he was at a party in Tampa where he was found unresponsive. Brodman had a genetic defect that affects only one percent of the population that caused a brain hemorrhage. He is remembered by his friends as being an outgoing individual who could make friends with anyone who crossed his path. Pulse employees carried an angel kite for each of the 49 victims during the Come Out with Pride Parade on November 12, 2016. This kite was added to include Brodman as another soul honored during the parade.
