Portrait of Leroy Valentin Fernandez created by artist Aquiles Avalos, who completed 49 pieces to honor each victim of the Pulse Nightclub shooting in a series called “Heroes of Love.” The artwork was first seen on the website of MOVILH, an advocacy group based in Chile, in June of 2016.
